And the carnage continues into this fine New Year. First game for me in 2014 AD, and it was a loss at the hands of Michael's Vikings. However old Olaf the Lucky had mixed fortunes; Beserkers sacrificed for multiple blows that had no effect, whilst ranged attacks from Danish Geburs wreaked havoc amongst Hearthguard and Bondi alike. And despite honing his skills with some Grand-Masters at the Miniature Empire Gaming Club over the last few weeks, he didn't quite 'roll me over' to the extent he expected. Viking traits were played well however, and despite the Danes whittling away Viking units he had enough dice to play a splendid killing blow at the end.
