A 1000 points game resulted in a crushing defeat for Skorne at the hands of Khador. It was the first outing of Skorne Minions Magnus and battle group. Tim played superbly with good use of an artillery-based army including Widowmakers, Winterguard, Mortar Crew, Destroyers, and a Behemoth! Al never looked a threat playing his Renegades badly forfeiting movement for aiming bonus. As a result his jacks never got into play in time to really have an effect and caused an element of gridlock for infantry at the start of the game. Tim played Sorcha well causing a plenitude of damage and the Titans’ and Cyclops’ were no match for the Behemoth.

Bad Dog!

Disaster for Scotland! Kaya is charged by two Cyclops Savages who deal her 15 damage points. With the game almost over she's lucky to run the Warpwolf and then target herself with Spirit Door to escape, then use Wild Mastery to leach fury to heal herself.

Now that Kaya's made her escape the Iron Fangs close in. Gulp!

...as do the Uhlans. Yikes!

However the Cyclops make short work of the Iron Fangs; Geezers! (Although it's fair to say at this point that my Praetorian Swordsmen number 1, and my Venators less)

...and the Titan Gladiator survived the final round supported by a frenzied Cyclops Brute. All were intersted to see what the Manhunter was going to do, but alas today it was absolutely nothing, so we'll have to wait for the next game...
